I would like to give a shout out to Eli and the Ellie Maybe Experience, who put on the most lyrically entertaining show I've seen in a very long time. Sure, half of her band learned the songs that day and she kept on giggling while she was singing in a very charming, self-belittling, Jewish stand-up comic kind of way, but I'm pretty sure I laughed throughout the entire set. Her songs are young and fun and about dogs and the clap and cover bands and they're all...ticklish.

Plus, Eli loves Foreigner.

Needless to say, I will definitely be attending more of her shows, just for the sake of laughing on a rainy day.
