How can we sleep when our beds are burning?

1. It gets really hot in my apt bedroom.

2. Am temporary office bitch in the Loop. I hate myself just a little. At least I'm at a charity fund, so it's not a horrible place. They basically raise money and hand out grants to low-income inner city schools (of which there are, literally, several hundred in Chicago).

3. Current project is this: I am creating spreadsheets of data that has been collected from school surveys over the past seven years. When I was entering information for one of these elementary schools, the principal of one particular school wrote as follows:

TOTAL SCHOOL INCOME (ADJUSTED BUDGET): Budget is a fiction.
